How can you save the professional photography industry in todays new era of technology?
Admit it, everywhere you look you will find a business owner or entrepreneur just getting started, they contact you and, they love your work and state "I have an opportunity for you".
So they offer a sweet deal of "getting you exposure" or even better, promised steady work and fair pay if you at least do these first couple images as a favor.
We all come to this point and sadly it's usually people we consider friends trying to "help you" in your career.
To keep this short and memorable:
All Photographers work has Value and should be compensated accordingly. Depending on experience, quality of work and delivering as promised makes your value increase.
How to determine that value is as easy as accepting trade for something you value equally or as specific as finding what your "daily cost of doing business" is. For this process I suggest watching Marc Wallace in the video HERE.
Where do photographers come up with their prices?
